Epic Of Gilgamesh And The Book Of

The Epic Of Gilgamesh is an important Middle East literary work, written in cuneiform on 12 clay tablets about 2000 BC by the oldest human author that we can name. The Epic tells the story of a great Mesopotamian king,Gilgamesh,who finds his kindered spirit and goes on a spiritual quest for understanding of death and the after life.

The Book Of Genesis, is the first book of the Old Testament which tells of the beginning of the book(chapters 1-11)contains stories about the first man and the first woman, the first murderer, the flood that God sent to destroy the world’s wickedness and the second part(chapters 12-50)is mainly the lives of the Hebrew patriarchs Abraham,Isaac and JACOB
